TRAINING

The Trainer is Claire Hyde who has groomed since 1994. She has been involved with teaching since 1984, has a degree in Biological Science and Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Claire has a City and Guilds Dog Grooming Certificate and a NVQ Level 3 in Dog Grooming. She also is an OCN & NVQ Assessor and a member of the Board of Education Development for Lantra. Classic Canine Cuts Dog Grooming school is also a Lantra approve training provider. Claire has taught at local colleges since 1998.

Claire says 'I am a teacher that grooms, not a groomer that teaches.'

Claire also started her grooming career by attending a grooming course and feels as a result of her past experience knows what others need to know to follow this path.

All courses designed are intensive and only a small number of students are taught at any one time. They are designed to train the person who wishes to make a living from dog grooming.
